Charles Rehberger

He was my first squad leader when I got there in Oct,  67,  we were on Track 33 in company C.  Chas was a great guy and he really spent a lot of time and effort with any of us new guys.  On the web site history page it says he had left the field to become a Company Clerk and volunteered to return to the field just prior to being killed.  That is not quite true,  he was selected  (I think by Captain Theologis) to join a "Division Pacification Team" and work out of Cu Chi.  He told me just prior to 2 May 68 that he came back to the field because he missed his friends and felt he was needed.
