ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
He served in the United States Army during the Wars with the Plains Indians as a 1st Lieutenant in the 5th United States Infantry. He was awarded the CMOH for his bravery at Wolf Mountain, Montana on January 8, 1877. His Medal was awarded to him on November 27, 1894.
