DETAILS
On June 26, 1966, the battalion moved to the Ho Bo Woods area. Company A made contact at a bunker tunnel complex. In the ensuing firefight one Bobcat was killed and 13 were wounded, of whom 7 were dusted off. 2 Company A APCs had hit AT mines. At 1432 hours Company C encountered a large command bunker with an extensive tunnel complex. During the fight which followed, 2 Bobcats were killed and 6 were wounded. 2 of the WIA were returned to duty.
