DETAILS
On September 14, 1967, the battalion continued security operations and also conducted saturation ambush patrolling in the area of Loc Giang. At 0515 hours, an ambush patrol from Company A engaged 2 VC with negative results. At 2220 hours, an ambush patrol from Company A, located 500 meters south of the junction of Highways10 and 6A, received small arms and automatic weapons fire at XT 435157. One Bobcat was killed and two were wounded.
