DETAILS
On November 09, 1970, an ambush patrol made up of members of Company B and South Vietnamese Regional Force soldiers was engaged by enemy soldiers as it was enroute to its ambush position. Two Bobcats were killed and two were wounded in the contact, a third died on November 11th. Three of the Regional force also died and 2 were missing, possibly captured, but believed to have walked us into the ambush as they were walking point.
