DETAILS
On December 08, 1968, at 0445 hours, the night perimeter of Companies A and C came under small arms and RPG attack. The attack was repulsed with artillery and mortar support. Five Bobcats were wounded in the exchange of fire. In a search of the perimeter area at first light, several VC bodies and weapons were located. At 0857 hours, an APC from Company B detonated an AT mine northeast of Trang Bang at XT 505225. Two Bobcats were wounded. At 1325 hours, an APC from Company B detonated an AT mine east of Trung Lap. Five Bobcats were wounded in the explosion. One Medic later died from his wounds.
