DETAILS
On February 06, 1970, at 0017 hours, an ambush patrol from Company C engaged an enemy force 2 kilometers southwest of the previous night’s contact. The unknown size enemy force returned the ambush’s fire with small arms and automatic weapons fire. Artillery and helicopter gunship fire was called in to help suppress the enemy fire. During the contact, two Bobcats from Company C were killed and two were wounded.
