Michael H. Pruett, 69, of Richmond, Texas, passed away on October 17, 2019, peacefully in his sleep after a year long courageous battle with an illness. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Cathy Kuritza; son, Paul Pruett and wife, Jennifer; his daughter, Amy Hernandez and husband, Carlos; 3 grandchildren, Evan, Chloe, and Sophia; sister, Pat Brady; along with 2 nieces and 2 nephews. The family wishes to thank Pastor Ben Kruse and wife, Candace, the staff of Memorial Hermann Hospice, Dr. Rossi, his friends, and the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Department for the care and kindness that was shown. A graveside service and military honors will be held at 10:15 a.m. Friday, October 25, 2019, at Houston National Cemetery.
