DETAILS
On November 14, 1968, Company A was sweeping Highway 14 south from Dau Tieng. At 1000 hours, a command detonated claymore type mine was exploded on the point element at XT 520415. Three Bobcats were killed. Two members of a scout dog team were also killed along with one scout dog. One ARVN Soldier was wounded and two Bobcats were wounded. The Recon Platoon conducted a sweep of Highway 239 from Dau Tieng to Highway 26 without incident.
