DETAILS
On September 12, 1968, Companies A and B were assigned to escort a three serial convoy from Dau Tieng. The first serial of vehicles was able to proceed to Tay Ninh. Enemy ambushes forced the second serial to spend the night at FSB Rawlins and the third serial was forced to return to Dau Tieng. Company A suffered two Bobcats killed and five wounded. Company B suffered four wounded. Several APCs were hit by RPG fire in the contact.
