DETAILS
On June 04, 1970, at 1400 hours, Company A received small arms and RPG fire four kilometers east of the junction of Highways 19 and 26 at XT 473368. The enemy fire was returned with organic weapons, artillery, a helicopter light fire team and finally air strikes. At 1500 hours, the company swept through the area and located a destroyed bunker system and dead enemy soldiers. Four Bobcats were killed and eighteen were wounded in the fight.
