On November 09, 1970, an ambush patrol made up of members of Company B and South Vietnamese Regional Force soldiers was engaged by enemy soldiers as it was enroute to its ambush position. Two Bobcats were killed and one was wounded in the contact. On November 11, 1970, a Bobcat who was wounded in the November 9 ambush patrol contact, died in hospital from his wounds.
