Larry Frank Kujawa
SP4 Kujawa died in Tay Ninh, South Vietnam on 1/11/1968 during the Vietnam War as a member of Bravo Company . The soldier's injury type or status was recorded as 'Multiple Fragmentation Wounds'. Kujawa originated from St. Martinville, Louisiana .
On January 11, 1968, the 1/5th(M) Task Force continued daylight patrolling in the Michelin Plantation. At 1043 hours Company D, 3/22nd Infantry engaged one VC at XT 534475. During a sweep of the contact area one short wave radio, a map with positions plotted, one bicycle and miscellaneous documents were located. Two Bobcats from Company B were killed by shrapnel from an explosion.
