DETAILS
On September 21, 1967, Co C, 2/27th Infantry provided security for engineer operations in the Loc Giang area. The 1/5th(M)(-) conducted S&D operations and saturation night ambush activities in the area. Company B was still the Cu Chi Base reaction force, but provided one platoon for security of engineer operations. At 0730 hours, an APC from Company B detonated an AT mine near Xom Thap at XT 543169. Two Bobcats were killed and four were wounded.
