DETAILS
On November 11, 1967, a Bobcat from Company C was killed by an explosion. This individual carried a Chicom grenade around with him that he had found. This day a dud artillery round was located and he was going to attempt to detonate the dud using the Chicom grenade. He activated the fuse and the grenade exploded, killing him. It had been rigged with an instantaneous fuse.
