DETAILS
On December 16, 1968, at 1100 hours, Company B was operating one kilometer north of the junction of Highways 1 and 7A, when they received small arms fire. One Bobcat was wounded. Fire was returned with unknown results.
At 1650 hours, the battalion CRIP unit requested a dust-off for two Bobcats wounded and two Bobcats killed. A jeep with the unit had detonated a mine on Highway 7A, just north of the junction of Highway 1.
