On October 16, 1967, Companies B and C conducted “Bushmaster” operations at Ap Binh Dong and Thai My along Highway 7A. Company A continued to provide one platoon to secure FSB Martha and one platoon for Cu Chi Base Camp. One Bobcat from the Recon Platoon was killed by a booby trap explosion.
