On July 07, 1969, Company B was operating along Highway 7A, northwest of Trung Lap. At 1250 hours, Company B requested a Dust-off for one Bobcat wounded by a booby trap detonation at XT 605223. At 1325 hours, Company B requested another Dust-off at the same location. One Bobcat had been killed and two others wounded when a booby trap exploded. At 1343 hours, Company B requested two flame baths in the cutting area at XT 602220.
