On May 18, 1967, the 1/5th(M)(-) conducted S&D operations south, north and northwest of Bao Trai. At 1450 hours the Battalion Commander’s APC detonated an AT mine on Highway 10, one kilometer north of the junction of Highway 7A. One Bobcat was killed and four were wounded.
